So.. US closed about 7 weeks ago for an underground storage tank fix. The prices at US Smog reflect what they sold gas for then. Chevron has kept on.. and with gas prices falling.. you can see the 7 week spread.

And to think I was excited enough to take a picture of a gas sign when it was at $1.95!
Here's another taken on 12-01-2008 (and yes, the weather here in Phoenix / Tempe, AZ is as beautiful as it looks)... 36 cents lower than just 9 days ago at a gas station just down the road.
While I think these gas prices are great, I'd much rather be paying $3-4/gallon and have my retirement savings back!
Update: I drove by this very same gas station the next day and the price was up to $1.65/gal.

The lowest we've seen in Seminole so far this year. (This is for "E10," not full gasoline. Real gas is $1.799 in Seminole.)

This is lower than gas has been in the area for like 2 or 3 years!!! For a rural area, this is incredible!
It dropped a whole dollar in a month...
